hello classmates, I am just trying to see If I can use this stuff.. =)
well, it works, so I will take advantage of this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Gisselt Romero and most of you know me, but, for the ones who do not know me..nice to meet you!!! I think this class will be very constructive, starting from the point that we have to participate on it by creating a blog which is something new for me because I had never created one, so let's learn as much as we can. Bye =)
Well done Gisselt!
ResponderEliminarHello Gisselt, I'm Andres. And I am impressed at all you said and read about early American Literature and Colonization. I was reading your post and I have found that you have highlighted very important aspects about US's history. At the begining, I did not too much about US's history alike you I did not that Pocahontas was a real character in the movie, but after I read the article provided by the teacher, I could realize that Pocahontas and John Smith were real personalities that they existed at any moment. Another thing that I did not alike you, it was that The Puritans brought the first printing press, and the most important about that, it the fact that this printing press still exist because I use to see printing pamphlets with the name of the first Printing press(Cambridge)don't you? And they were the founders of the first School in US. A third point that you mentioned in the post and that called my attention, it was that there were a lot of Indians's work, but they were not printed because of the lack of printing press so most of these works were transmitted orally. To finish, I just want to say that you read the three articles, and it can be seen in your post. I really liked you post, your view points towards American Literature are understandable, and it is cool so go ahead and good post.
